Despite yet more lies today [FTWB] from Gordon Brown he states that newcomers must sigh a pledge: the pledge says, amongst other things, that they must commit to "prudence with public money", LOL!     That original interview at the weekend if I remember what I heard on the radio news suggested that the position is not needed nor the power that goes with it and can walk away at any time...but then as an afterthought I seem to also remember that it was also said(I am paraphrasing here)there is a job to be done! And I'm the one to do it. So no one is going anywhere...
